The app offers a way to stay connected and unlock new media experiences during the ride by using your GMC’s available Wi-Fi® Hotspot2 and an unlimited data plan. You can stream music or news with an available in-vehicle app or listen to your favorite SiriusXM® station while you drive, and your passengers can use the WarnerMedia RIDE™ App to stream live and on-demand content from top brands including HBO Max, CNN, Cartoon Network, TruTV and more.

All you need to begin using the app is an unlimited data plan, or trial data plan, for your vehicle. Then, with the available in-vehicle Wi-Fi capability, passengers can download the app, create a profile, and start enjoying a comprehensive library of exclusive on-demand content — as well as several live channels — at no additional cost.

The app can be used on up to seven devices at a time. There are more than a thousand hours of shows and movies available for viewing through the app, and the extensive collection of content is updated monthly.

Later in the year, GM and AT&T plan to add HBO Max to a unique premium bundle of streaming content to complement the WarnerMedia RIDE and in-vehicle Wi-Fi offering. HBO Max offers more than 10,000 hours of curated premium content from HBO, Warner Bros. and other world-class storytelling brands.

Download the WarnerMedia RIDE™ app from the App Store or Google Play and connect a smartphone or tablet to GMC in-vehicle Wi-Fi. Then let passengers watch to their heart’s desire. The app requires iOS 11 or newer devices, or Android 9 or newer devices.

How to Use the WarnerMedia RIDE™ App
The WarnerMedia RIDE™ app offers premium TV shows, movies and live streaming from the comfort of your GMC with just a few simple steps:
  1. If you don’t have an unlimited data plan, or trial data plan, purchase a GMC Connected Services plan from the GMC Owner Center at my.GMC.com, or push the blue OnStar button in your vehicle to talk to an Advisor for more information about a plan.
  2. Download the WarnerMedia RIDE™ App.
  3. Have your vehicle ON or in ACCESSORY mode to connect to your vehicle’s available Wi-Fi hotspot. Select your vehicle’s hotspot name from the Wi-Fi Settings menu on your mobile device. Enter your password when prompted and you’re set to connect.
  4. Open the WarnerMedia RIDE™ and create a profile.
  5. Now your passengers have access to the entire WarnerMedia RIDE™ library and can begin watching all their favorite content — or explore new shows and movies.
