2021 Canyon introduces First Ever AT4

When the first ever Canyon AT4 was recently revealed in the Rocky Mountains, it looked right at home. Designed for outdoor enthusiasts looking to venture off-road, the Canyon AT4 (arriving late spring 2020) is a premium midsize truck with the capability, technology and refinement you expect from a GMC.

“This is a truck created with outdoor adventurers in mind,” says Duncan Aldred, Vice President of Global Buick and GMC. “The Canyon AT4 is a perfect complement to the driver’s other passions and appreciation of the details, whether that’s a mountain bike, a snowboard or their truck.”

The Canyon AT4 inspires confidence with a standard off-road tuned suspension, Advanced Hill Descent Control System, 4WD with a Rear Automatic Locking Differential and a 2-speed AutoTrac transfer case. Standard 31-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac® tires add capability and an aggressive appearance.

The New Canyon AT4 will be powered by a standard, best-in-class 308-hp 3.6L V6 engine. An available 2.8L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine will offer 369 lb-ft of torque (late availability).

The bold exterior is defined by dark chrome finishes, a new grille and red recovery hooks.* The interior features premium detailing, including unique Kalahari stitching and AT4 headrest embroidery.
